Our workshop opened in Basel, Switzerland in 2011. Since then, ADVOLAT has enjoyed a growing reputation for an uncompromising focus on quality. We provide a line of timepieces that are Strictly Limited, Individually Numbered, and Always Sapphire.
The founder of ADVOLAT Schweiz, Dr. Wolf Franke, saw an opportunity to combine Swiss watchmaking tradition with a modern business model. He sought to provide a hand-assembled, well-made, and field-tested watch at a moderate price point. His decades of OEM watch making traditions, and doctorate of engineering have proven to create an amazing watch line that is up to any challenge
All watch models are limited-edition runs of primarily 888 or 8,888 pieces. When a model sells out, we will never reproduce it. This makes owning an ADVOLAT timepiece a unique and personal experience.
ADVOLAT is a member of the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH, which accepts only watch manufacturers that adhere to the strict standards in place by Swiss law.
All ADVOLAT timepieces come with a 36-month international warranty that covers your watch no matter where in the world you are. We will work to make sure that your timepiece provides you with the best experience, and we stand behind our offerings! Each Certificate of Authenticity lists the terms of this warranty.
ADVOLAT timepieces are field tested by people in high stress career fields, ensuring that they are able to handle just about anything you will encounter. Police, Military and other careers utilize ADVOLAT watches for their everyday timekeeping needs.
Strictly Limited, Individually Numbered, Always Sapphire
That’s the ADVOLAT mantra. Each timepiece is Strictly Limited because it’s made in a limited-edition run. Once the run is complete, that timepiece will never be reproduced. Your ADVOLAT watch will be Individually Numbered with an engraving of its sequential number in its run. And it will arrive with a Certificate of Authenticity. Every ADVOLAT timepiece is Always Sapphire due to its sapphire crystal over the dial, which is rated just below the white diamond on the Mohs hardness scale.
Every hand-assembled watch ends at ADVOLAT's Basel, Switzerland studio. There, they endure rigorous quality checks before going to North America and ultimately reaching your or your loved one's wrist. Each ADVOLAT timepiece is built with an extremely high attention to detail, ensuring the longevity of the watch and meeting our highest standards.

What Makes an ADVOLAT Timepiece?
Sapphire Crystals
Sapphire crystals are the invisible difference between a premium watch and its standard counterpart. They offer a glass surface with absolute clarity. They are 100% fog-free on the inside and virtually impossible to scratch on the outside. Rated almost as hard as white diamond—the hardest natural stone—on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness, the sapphire crystal in each ADVOLAT timepiece is a perfect accompaniment to any adventure!
316L Marine-Grade Steel
All of our watch cases are made from 316L marine-grade stainless steel, which is the same grade used for yacht fittings. 316L steel does not contain any molybdenum, which makes it a frequently used material for ultrasensitive purposes. It’s even approved for applications inside the human body!

The movement is the heart and soul of any watch. ADVOLAT watches feature a variety of quality movements for every taste.
This includes high-precision Swiss-made quartz movements & classic Miyota-based automatics along with quartz models

A Strap for Every Taste
Designed with longevity in mind, ADVOLAT straps never sacrifice on quality materials. And with ADVOLAT timepieces, there are so many strap options to choose from.
We source the finest calf leather from various locales in Europe, creating straps that are thick and rich—and they age very gracefully. We also make classy stainless-steel bracelets that use the same 316L high-quality stainless steel as the case. Some models have caoutchouc, a natural rubber, straps. These are waterproof, highly resilient, and very stretchy. It’s a great choice for more active wearers.
For an experience like no other, Milanaise straps utilize a fine stainless-steel mesh and a super strong magnetic closure for a lightweight feeling. All Milanaise-equipped variants include a high-quality ADVOLAT Magnetic Shield (AMS), which protects the movement’s accuracy from magnetic rays.
